I told y'all vegan doesn't have to mean boring. And it certainly doesn't have to mean preservatives and high fructose.....Try this quick easy recipe on for size!
6 overripe local bananas
1 cup distilled water
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/ cup Kohana white rum
2 tbsp of brown sugar
1/4 sliced red onion
1/2 tsp tumeric
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 jalapeno
A pinch of salt.
Method:
Add everything to a heavy pot except the vinegar and a splash or two of the rum.
Cook for 15 minutes on medium heat and then blend while hot! Be careful. Add the remaining vinegar and rum, blend and bottle in a Mason jar immediately.
Vegan will never be the same!
